COVID-19 Vaccine

Reminder: If you have received the 1st dose of a 2-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna), you are required to receive the 2nd dose from the same vaccine provider that administered your 1st dose.

Vaccine clinics are by appointment only. No walk-in vaccinations will be provided. Additionally, Frederick residents have several options to register for a vaccine:

Frederick Health continues to work in close coordination with the Frederick County Health Department to administer the COVID-19 vaccine.

FREDERICK COUNTY IS CURRENTLY VACCINATING: Phase 2A

Governor Larry Hogan has announced the expansion and acceleration of COVID-19 vaccine eligibility for all adults in the State of Maryland:

  • Beginning Tuesday, April 6, all Marylanders 16 and older will be eligible to get vaccinated at mass vaccination sites.
  • By Monday, April 12, all Marylanders 16 and older will be eligible to schedule appointments and get vaccinated through all providers.

- If you are an existing patient of Frederick Health Medical Group Primary Care, you will receive additional information directly from Frederick Health Medical Group with instructions to register for a vaccine clinic, when you are eligible.

- If you are not a patient of Frederick Health Medical Group Primary Care, please visit the Frederick County Health Department website at health.frederickcountymd.gov for information on public vaccination clinics.
