Frederick Health Auxiliary Scholarship

The Frederick Health Auxiliary is excited to continue its long tradition of annually awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Frederick County.

The Frederick Health Auxiliary first began its scholarship program in 1960 and since that time it has awarded 255 scholarships to local students, totaling $193,550.

To qualify for an auxiliary scholarship, all applicants must:

  • plan a career in a health-related field
  • be a high school graduate in the class of '22
  • submit a completed scholarship application

The application requires:

  • the completed application form
  • personal résumé (include extra-curricular/community activities, volunteer service, and employment experiences)
  • an official high school transcript, including grades from the 2021 Fall semester
  • SAT and/or ACT scores (optional)
  • an essay, including your goals in a health-related field and how being awarded this scholarship, would benefit you (500-word maximum)

Application packets should be limited to the documents required above. Completed applications may be e-mailed (Auxiliary@Frederick.Health) or postmarked by March 18, 2022, and sent to:
