Announcing our 2025 Employees of the Year

We are pleased to announce our Team Members of the Year. Every year, Frederick Health names a Team Leader and a Team Member of the year. This year, there were 20 nominees between the two categories. All nominees are reviewed by a panel of their peers and the two winners are selected. The 2025 winners were announced at a recent celebration at Frederick Health Hospital.
Team Leader of the Year:
Lori Sprecher, Clinical Manager, Family Connects, was named Team Leader of the Year. Lori demonstrates and encourages collaborative care between clinical experts and families with newborns. Since launching the Family Connects program in 2023, over 3,000 babies have been visited and cared for by Lori’s dedicated team. As the Clinical Manager, Lori work helps to ensure that healthy habits start young. From managing in home visits to providing clinical care herself, Lori exemplifies what it means to be compassionate, caring, and patient oriented.
"I am thankful to my team, my leadership, and the amazing work that the Family Connects team does for this community. This is a surprise, but a really good surprise,” said Lori.
Team Member of the Year:
Jill Carswell, Senior Applications Analyst, Information Services, was named Team Member of the Year. Jill is committed to improving the patient outcome and user experience. She tirelessly supports operational excellence, leading the way on systems upgrades, vendor partnerships, and implementing numerous efficiency programs. She constantly looks for ways to improve how people interact with Frederick Health’s platforms. Her work has benefited patients throughout Frederick Health’s vast network and team members using Frederick Health’s technology.
"This is a huge honor. I am lucky to have such a supportive team and communicative vendors. I am proud to be part of this team,” Jill stated.
