FREDERICK, MD – Ellsworth Electric has pledged $25,000 to Frederick Health in support of the ReEnvisioning Critical Care Campaign to renovate and expand the hospital’s Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and Interventional Cardiology Services. By virtue of this pledge, Ellsworth joins the Frederick Health Corporate Honor Roll.

“Supporting the hospital is important to us because we feel having the best medical care is imperative for everyone requiring those services. We also like to ‘give back’ to organizations that we have been able to assist with electrical projects,” said Ellsworth President & Owner Jonny Barr.

“We are pleased to welcome Ellsworth Electric to the Corporate Honor Roll. We commend Jonny and his team for their commitment to the health and overall well-being of the communities they serve. It is especially rewarding when we are able to have a business relationship with an organization that embraces such a culture of philanthropy,” stated Frederick Health President & CEO Tom Kleinhanzl.

The Frederick Health Corporate Honor Roll was established 30 years ago to provide financial support for Frederick Health’s strategic capital goals. The Corporate Honor Roll roster includes a diverse group of nearly 90 local businesses, organizations, and foundations dedicated to helping the hospital meet the healthcare needs of Frederick’s growing population.
