Frederick Health Named Health Care Hero for Advancements & Innovation in Health Care

Frederick Health has been named a 2026 Health Care Hero by The Daily Record, earning recognition in the Advancements & Innovation in Health Care category for its Lung Cancer Care program. 

The Health Care Heroes Awards honor individuals and organizations across Maryland that have made a meaningful impact on the quality of health care. Winners are selected by The Daily Record’s editorial team and represent excellence in innovation, patient care and community impact. 

Frederick Health’s Lung Cancer Care program was recognized for its commitment to early detection, advanced treatment options, and a patient-centered approach that improves outcomes and diagnose lung cancer earlier than the national average. This recognition highlights the organization’s ongoing dedication to advancing care and expanding access to critical services for the community it serves.
