At Frederick Health, it is important to us to provide excellent customer
service and follow-up to ensure you have the resources you need after
you are discharged to home. We realize that questions or concerns about
your recovery and medications may arise after you are home.
You will receive a phone call from one of our Registered Nurses one to
two days after you are discharged to check and see how you are doing.
Calls come from Frederick Health at 240-566-3977. During the call the
nurse will:
- Answer questions
- Provide assistance regarding new medications and follow-up appointments
- Provide additional support as needed
Our goal is to continue taking care of your healthcare needs after you
have gone home. The discharge phone call is an extension of your care
at Frederick Health, and we believe it will help prevent you from needing
to return to the hospital or emergency room with questions while improving
your overall patient experience.
