A patient portal proxy is a person who is given authorized access to another patient’s online health portal account. They can log into this account and manage certain parts of a patient’s healthcare information digitally.

Patients 13 years old and above can skip the forms and share access directly within the Patient Portal.

- Located under your name and birthdate, click the ‘Account Options’ drop-down arrow.
- Select ‘Share My Portal’
- Under Shared Access, select ‘Create Invitation’
- Complete the steps of your proxy information
- After submitting, your proxy will receive an invitation via email. Once they accept the invitation, they will have access to view your health information within the Patient Portal.
