Women's Health Navigator

The Women’s Health Navigator is a dedicated point of contact for patients, helping coordinate care and support before delivery, during your hospital stay, and after returning home.

Before you come in to deliver, the Women’s Health Navigator is available to answer questions about the Birth Place, help you understand what to expect when you arrive, and assist with scheduling a Birth Place tour.

During your stay in the Birth Place, the navigator meets with new moms to provide support and help coordinate next steps for care after discharge.

For patients who are considered higher risk, the navigator follows up by phone after the patient returns home to help ensure recovery is going smoothly. During these calls, they’ll talk through recovery, including blood pressure, bleeding, and mental health, and ensure postpartum appointments are scheduled.
