Our providers treat every breast cancer patient with a multidisciplinary team approach, to ensure a thorough evaluation and treatment planning discussion for every breast cancer patient.

Each patient of Frederick Health Medical Group Breast surgery is seen by the breast surgeon initially for a consultation discussing their diagnosis and treatment options. A follow-up visit is then scheduled with a Medical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, and a Plastic or Reconstructive surgeon.

We recognize that every patient is unique; every patient deserves a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific case. Our multidisciplinary approach is designed to treat the whole patient, not just the pathology.

Frederick Health Breast Center is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Programs that possess this accreditation meet national standards for facilitating multidisciplinary, integrated, and comprehensive breast disease services. Frederick Health Breast Center is also an ACS Surgical Quality Partner (SQP).
