Lymphedema Treatment

Physical Therapists certified in Lymphedema treatment to detect the presence of Lymphedema 10 months sooner than previous methods. Early detection allows patients to minimize the impact of this condition.

To get a measurement, patients take off their shoes and socks, and place hands and feet on the designated areas of the machine for 30 seconds. Once the measurement is complete, your therapist will discuss your results with you and tailor a treatment plan to fit your needs. This is a simple and painless method of detecting lymphedema and monitoring progress.

Men and women who have cancer, lymph nodes removed during surgery, radiation treatment, or an infection are at risk for lymphedema and would benefit from a screening.
