Masking Policies

Frederick Health is committed to providing you with a safe environmental. As part of that commitment, we consistently monitor the ever-changing transmission levels of the COVID-19 virus. As a result, our masking policies reflect the most accurate information available.

While COVID-19 is still impacting our operations and our community, the existing masking policies for Frederick Health team members, patients, and visitors were recently reviewed and have been updated. Those updates are described below. There are two distinct categories: Frederick Health Ambulatory sites such as our Primary Care, Urgent Care offices, and the Frederick Health Hospital.

Ambulatory Locations:

Effective Monday, March 6, 2023, mask wearing will be optional for visitors, patients, and team members at our Ambulatory sites. We request that those with respiratory symptoms (including team members) continue wearing masks. Both team members and visitors may continue to wear masks should they wish.
